Join Yanisa and Rohun in their challenge to raise much needed funds to help end the suffering of stray dogs and cats in South East Asia!

Yanisa and Rohun will attempt to reach the summit of Chulu West in the Annapurna region of Nepal in just 21 days.

Their trek will last 21 days starting on April 27th from Kathmandu, Nepal. After 6 days on the main trail, Yanisa and Rohun plan to reach an altitude of 3,500 metres. Their trek will take them up to the remote Marsyangdi Valley, overlooked by some of the World’s mighty 8,000 m peaks.

By day 9, these invincible pair plans to reach the Base Camp at 4,900 m, where they will spend some time acclimatising and training for the climb to the summit. After reaching Camp 1 at 5,500 m, the summit is next! Just after midnight, they will start the 8 to 10 hour climb up to the summit of Chulu West reaching an altitude of 6,419 metres (21,059 ft).

We are speechless at their bravery and commitment to help end the suffering of the stray dogs and cats in South East Asia. Yanisa and Rohun both share a passion for animal welfare and have been part of the Soi Dog Family for years. Your donation to support their challenge will directly go towards helping the stray dogs and cats of South East Asia.

Today you can do a wonderful thing. Please make a donation.

Last but not least, make sure you follow Yanisa and Rohun during their Chulu West Challenge from April 27th to May 17th. They will be posting updates and progress reports (Wi-Fi permitting!) on their Facebook fundraiser page, with photos and short clips of their adventure.
