How could someone abandon someone as sweet as me?

My friend, Ulani, and I have not always been homeless dogs. Sadly, we used to be someone’s beloved pets until one day, we were abandoned. We hoped upon hope that our owner would return for us, but as the days passed, our hope faded. Instead of dwelling on our past, I am trying desperately to stay positive and look to the future. Maybe one day soon someone will choose me and give me the life I deserve.

The volunteers who have met me already say I am known for being a sweet gal who does not need much fuss. While I enjoy a cuddle here and there, I always wait for my turn.

Each day I enjoy my walks. I never pull on the lead nor react to the other dogs around me. I simply trot on with my ears happily flapping in the breeze. I have been told I would make an amazing companion whether I am your first dog or a new addition to my pack.

I miss living a life in a home with someone who cares about me. Will you give me a second chance?

Ulani and I are friends, but we understand most people cannot always welcome two dogs in their home at once. With that in mind, we do not need to be adopted together! All we ask is that we each find a loving home to feel safe in!
